EU Settlement Scheme: employer toolkit
The Home Office has announced the next phase in its plans to assist EU citizens and their families with applying for the new EU settlement status post-Brexit.
It has introduced an employer toolkit which can be used to get a better understanding of the obligations of both the employer and employee under the new EU Settlement Scheme. It will provide context and background to the scheme, details of the application process and raise awareness of important scheme dates, requirements and actions.
A number of leaflets are now available for download which can be given to employees to provide reassurance on the new scheme, application routes, key terminology and benefits of applying. Additional information is also available to employers to equip them with the right tools and information to support their EU employees.
Harbour HR are on hand to provide support to your HR department to discuss business needs, review employee application eligibility and process the applications on your behalf as required.
Please contact us for further information and how we can support your employees under the new scheme.
